Working Together: Researchers & the PAVE Program

Whether serving as a Principal Investigator, co-investigator, student assistant, or lab technician, each member of the research team plays a vital role in ensuring the success, integrity, and compliance of research conducted at UTEP. The PAVE Program is dedicated to providing support and guidance to all members of the scientific community.

Recognizing the importance of timely and effective education, the program helps researchers deepen their understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices. Participation in the PAVE Program not only strengthens current research compliance but also prepares individuals for future studies. Responsible research is a collective effort.

Regardless of one’s role within a research team, all actions must align with approved protocols and UTEP’s regulatory standards. The PAVE Program assists in clarifying these responsibilities, fostering a culture of accountability that is fundamental to ethical research. This commitment not only benefits the institution but also enhances the integrity and credibility of each researcher’s work.

Flexible Learning to Fit researchers’ needs

The PAVE Program is committed to supporting researchers at every stage of the research process. It offers tailored educational services designed to address the specific responsibilities of individual researchers or entire research teams.

Below is an overview of the educational services and delivery formats available. All education is customized to meet the unique needs of each study. Researchers interested in requesting educational support may visit the Request Educational Support page for more information.
